Default Power delay

Hi,

after browsing this forum, I'm still comfused: is there any way to eliminate power supply delay problem? I have the same problem like other guys: after switching engine off, radio still is on for another minute or so. I can live with this but it's still annoying.
So is there any way to kill radio when key is off?

Thank you.

Usually just a case of switching a couple of wire isn't it. For example, on my sony one, i had to swap the yellow and red over. I'd suggested reading your radio's manual and seeing what the wiring diagram says. Just swapping wires your not sure of will end badly.

Thanks for reply. My radio was unable to save anything. I've found that information about switching red/yellow cables in this forum. Now I'm able to save the settings. Still, radio turns off after 60s. after the key is off. And turns on after the car was unlocked, not when ignition is on.
User manual had 3 options - normal, red/yellow trick and red and yellow joined to single red cable. Right now radio is connected using red/yellow switch method. My head unit is JVC KW-R400.

Thank you for info.
