Question Xenon lights don`t work/Strange sound

Hi

Got a problem with one of my xenon light on my 807, 2.0 HDI 2004 model. It startet out as a weird noise coming from one of the xenon lights (rrrrrrrr-sound/ratteling ).

After a while after that:
When i start the car the lights come on, but one goes off after a few seconds.
I changed the xenon light in that lamp, but the problem persist
The strange sound is gone

Anyone had this problem?

It is usually the control unit fitted in the bottom of the light that causes this you need to remove the light to fix it

Thanks man

While I`m at it, do you know where the reverse light switch on the gearbox is located?

Default Control unit failure?

Hi again
Tougt I`ll give an update.

The ballast/Control unit is bad and I need to replace it.

Since I`ve been driving around with only one xenon light, I have turned on the fog lights too, but they dont work any more The fuse is OK, but I replaced it to be shure

Anyone got an idea?

(some other faults is: Backing lights and parking assist is permanently on most of the time)

Anyone has got an idea?

Bit of a long shot, check the rubber pipe to the rear washers hasn't blown apart at the junction behind the driver's side rear lights, when it does all the adjacent wiring gets soaked. Remove the trim on the rear corner to access, use tie wraps to better secure the pipe to the junction sleeve.

Is your car auto or manual as the reverse switch is very different for both
