Default RT3 with colour screen not working

Hi,

A bit of an odd one here, I hope someone can help.

I have a 2005 807 exec with the rt3 and colour screen which aren't working.

The previous owner said that it went into the garage and they were driving it home and it all just switched off and they couldn't get it working again.

The original rt3 head unit would just flash the orange light and occasionally a green one despite been soft and hard reset.
The screen has always been blank, it has no point even displayed the Peugeot logo.
Thinking the headunit was the cause of the issues, I replaced it with a known working one (exact model number). On this unit the only thing that happens is the light is a constant orange.
It doesn't even beep due to having the wrong VIN on it.

I had the dashboard in bits yesterday trying to rule out bad connections and fuses etc, still no joy.

Has anyone got any suggestions where to go from here please?
Thanks

Is the optic cable connected at the back, think you can get to it from the top

Hi, yeah it's connected - had all that out yesterday too. Checked the fibre cable and it's passing light okay.
