Default Gear oil fill point

Im trying to find the fill point for gear oil, could anyone tell me if the red circled part in the pic below is the correct place?
It is fastened with a torx screw and theres a cable or wire going inside.

Btw this is a C8

No it is behind the gearbox, a round black plastic plug with a screw to one side. Very difficult to fill as the oil goes in slowly, use a litre plastic bottle which is small enough to position above the filling point and ease the fluid in and don't swear!

When you say "behind the gearbox", could you be more specific?

I found an image

That shows the filler plug should be close to where I marked in the photo?

I don't think the gearbox illustrated is the same as the one on the car, from memory the filler plug is adjacent to the differential and is almost horizontal, quite large about 1 inch in diameter. Make sure you use 75-80 gear oil, don't use 75-90. What you have circled is the reverse cable connection.

Thx Wynb, I found it.
It took about 2 hours to get 2 litres filled, that was a pain.
I might have spilled about 2-3 dl so I have to get more and top it of :/
