Default Fault Code P0020

Hi Guys

I have a friend with a Ulysse 2.2 litre, I know this is a Peugeot forum but these are the same vehicles so thought I would ask a quick question here to see if anyone can help.

The car wouldn't start and the above diag code came up (PP) which pointed to the Cam Sensor. Sensor has been replaced and the car starts and runs fine however, after turning it off it won't start again and the same fault it shown, if he clears it then the car starts and it's like this constantly.

Anyone got any idea's???

Cheers

Nelix

Could be a fault in the wiring to the cam sensor or in the connecting plugs, I would disconnect at either end check the plugs and load test with a 21W bulb.

Just thought I would update you all.

We disconnected the battery for 10-15 mins, then put it back on, cleared the fault and it has never come back !!!!

Strange one, but now resolved.

Thanks.
