Default drive shaft

My car is a 2003 2.2HDI 807 and i bought an new n/s CV joint from ECP as mine was clicking. But it won't fit on the shaft, the center hole is too small and it also won't fit in the hub, the splines don't seem to line up. But this is the only one ECP list for this car, so are there two different sizes.

Thanks

Did you just look on their website or did you ring them?
Website wrong on more than a few occasions.
Ring around a few diff ones like Andrew page etc.
This car is getting old so less and less bits stocked now and left to the dealer to get.

Post the last eight characters of the VIN. Then one of us can look up the correct part no and you can use that to search on EBay if you don't want to buy from the dealer.

Ok phoned around and they all list just one and i think they are the same as the ECP one, which is wrong. Went to my local French breakers with my old one and he matched it up, not put it on the car yet. But he told me there are definitely two sizes. Will put VIN on here later, just to get a part number etc.

Thanks

OK the shaft fits perfectly and has 27 splines hub side, where as the others all had 28
