I have a Peugeot 806 ST 2.0.
The airbag lamp wont turn off.
The repair place said to me that its probably in the belt pretensioner on the passenger side,
so he would have to get a new one (for about 300 to 400 Euro).
I read in a thread abot the 206:
"It is a common Peugeot problem. There is a connection under the drivers
seat where the Seat Belt Pretensioner is linked in. This connection needs
re-doing. You might get away with cleaning and reconnecting it."
Is it possible that its the same on the 806? I have no warm seat in that side
but it is warm (when I turn the heat on of course) on the drivers seat.
If it have something to do with a connection to the chair?.
Is it so that the airbag system is connected with the chair so its not going off
on the passenger side if there is no passenger seated?
Great if someone have an idea of this!
Thankful for all replyes.

Had the same problem on mine 05-Partner, and the fault was located in the seat as you mention. It was a bad wiring connection, and sometimes I just had to move the seat back and forward to make the airbag light disappear
It could be worth checking out..

Going to get the car from the rapairplace today and take a look at it over the weekend.
He said to me that it was both an open circuit and a shortcut. He tried to follow the cable as far as he could but he couldnt find the box where the end was.
If someone know were that is it would be great to know.
Also if someone know if the resistance is in the belt pretensioner and if its safe to measure it without risking to blow the belt pretensioner?
If I could measure the belt pretensioner i thought i could compare it with the one at the drivers side.
Have a nice holliday
