Default 806 not starting

Hi all, would appreciate some help...

I have an 806 that will not start (the engine got wet, although it did run for a couple of days before it died). It's a 2001 model with 2.0l petrol engine, automatic.

Basically it turns over, but will not fire up. There is no spark, and no fuel is being delivered (the fuel pump doesn't come on with the ignition).

The fuel pump relay was replaced as it was ticking, the new one doesn't make a noise. All connectors have been checked for water, etc.

Any ideas of what to check on these? Is there a way to check if the ECU and/or immobiliser is at fault, or if there is something else I could check out? The crank position sensor has been thought of, but I would have thought the fuel pump would still come on for a few seconds with the ignition, even if this was faulty.

Any ideas/pointers, etc., appreciated, before I think about getting the ECU sent off to be checked.

Unlikely to be ecu unless there is more to tell as some people do not give us everything

sounds to me that the key is not being read so the immobiliser is not unlocking.

You are correct the fuel pump would run even if crank sensor was faulty but I believe it may also run even if the immobiliser is not unlocking so might be a power supply issue

You say it got wet what do you mean ?
