Default 508 saw brakes pad change.

Hi all

New to the forum? Hello!

My rear brKe pads on my new 2012 508SW need changing. I'm quite competent normally when doing pretty much anything on my cars.

However my 508 has an electronic parking brake on it. Can I wind back the piston on the caliper as on other cars or does this need to be done electronically with a computer/diagnostic?

Is it just a case of jack up chock up, release the brake, caliper off pads out wind piston back in?

Thanks in anticipation.
Rob

Default Thanks

Thanks.

So no need for computer input. I presume all PP does is release the brake without need for engine to be on.

Access to bottom bottom bolt looks a little awkward on 508SW due to handbrake mechanicanism.

Thanks for help
