Limp home mode turning on in winter
I have a 1.6 petrol GT-line model that is just year old. Has anyone experienced limp home mode in winter, like when the temp. is below -15C?
It happened with me twice this winter. First time just had to stop and start the car again, second time had to go to underground parking lot and again stop and start.
The thing is that couldn't get diagnostics time fast enough when this happened and dealer said that since both times after 3 days service message went away they can't find anything.
I have suspicion that they are fooling me. For me car going to limp home mode isn't small thing and as a software developer myself, i can't believe there is no system logs stored to check errors.
I found the post about hidden expert mode, has anyone checked what logs there are?
PS. I live in Estonia and winters get cold here under -20C.

had some issues with my car also - and none of those errors were reflected in the logs according to local dealer...
seems like it has very limited error log functionality there...
