Default weird noise driving away and sometimes driving

Well this morning it was pretty hot out so i had the window open and i could hear a weird squealing noise. I thought it was the car behind me but as i opened the window and no cars around i could hear it? Anywho, i went home and opened the window and reved the engine (no noise - BUT a small faint of it upon rev but so lightly hard to notice, normal guy would put it to engine just being an engine haha) But once i knocked her into first gear, handbrake on, lightly releasing clutch and bonnet lifting as if im doing a hill start the squeal came and damn it was noisy! Like running a cat over or something (not that i run cats over haha) Anyway, can someone help me out? Do i worry? Is my clutch on way out?

PS: I got new timing kit put in 3 weeks ago, new water pump, power steering belt.
What is the issue? Let me know thanks!!

Clutch release bearing possibly. Hard to tell without something like a video of the noise. If it only does it when moving then I could be that or the dual mass flywheel if your car has one. You don't say what engine you have.

Thanks! Yeah i will try post a video later on to share, my cars an 06 1.6 HDI. I did research and from the sounds it seems like it might be that release bearing? How do i know if my car has that dual mass flywheel? And with that said, would you know an estimate of total to get this fixed? If it is the release bearing it is only around 20 quid to buy but to put it in, would it be better to get new clutch or will it be cheap doing that one job? Thanks!
