The fitting of a new turbo is a long and complex job. Has yours gone?

I'd advise you to read this.

What service history? ie what intervals were you using? To be honest your engine at this stage is most likely rubbish as all the oil galleries will be clogged with carbon buildup. I'm just trying to get an idea as to the condition of the car so bare with the questions if you want answers.

Damn that was a lot of crap.

Is the 2.0 HDi better regarding soot build up?
Haven't looked inside the rocker/cam area on my engine yet.

No the 2.0 is way better. They're all ok once the service intevals more than halved and Total INEO used.

So oil change on 2.0 is recommended about 15000km / 10000miles?

I'd be doing those at 8k miles also but no one has to go with my recommendation.

I changed my oil when I bought it as there was little service history with her then changed it again after 6000 miles and it seems to run a lot smoother so hopefully turbe etc will be ok for a while yet

I do the 407 every 8k using the INEO ECS stuff.
It was done every 20k before I bought it, although at a Peugeot dealer (if that really makes any difference).

I do still need to get the turbo looked at though, have been putting that one off for a while now.
