Default Turbo cleaner

Looking for some assistance, thinking about cleaning turbocharger. Im looking to do it on the car with no or little dismantling. I have seen tins of cleaner that fill up the turbo and decoke it fully. Has anyone done this or similar and any advice would be great. I have p0238 fault intermitant and just trying least expensive way at first to maybe clear fault. Tell me what you think.

This can be an electrical problem too or a vacuum problem. Get those checked first then go at the turbo.
If there is play in the shaft of the turbo take it that its part of your problem. If there is play look at your service history especially what oil is being used.

Just trying things, least expensive first. The shaft looks and feels ok with very little movement. I was also going to replace map sensor. I keep getting the eng man light on. Cleared it again today. Looking on other diesel related forums they have suggested cleaning turbo vanes which they say stops limp home mode.

I'm a fan of cleaning agents, they do work. But what concerns me is where these bits of dislodged gunk actually end up.

Might be turbo solenoid valve or vacum actuator leaking?
