Talking tires

can i fit 225-50-17 tires on my 407 , at mo i have 215-55-17 , they will be going on front of car x

You can probably put whatever you want on there..... but it will effect the car though. Wheels & all the gearing/speed etc is all designed for 215/55/17 tyres, so anything else will have some impact, even if it may be small..... and I would imagine it will change the ride comfort too.

Hello, I bought a 407sw last Saturday.
I've noticed that it has 215/55/17 on the front
and 225/50/17's on the back!
should I be worried?
it seems to drive and ride ok to me.
It's under warranty, should I take it back?
It's just passed the MOT.

Have the rears got much tread left on them?

Probably drive ok ish, although not recommended... I'd be changing them back to the 215/55/17 as soon as tread deems necessary.

They're almost brand new! I think I'll run them
then buy a pair of 215's when these are worn down
a bit.
They're a bit pricey to be throwing them away!
