Default Speedo LCD display

I'm not sure if this has been asked before but is there a way of keeping the mpg readout on the mini display?

It flashes up when you press the button button on the stalk then vanishes after a few seconds

I've been through the entire owners manual and there is no mention of it

Thanks

Mike

It stays on the small LCD panel above the radio if i set it to trip rather than climate or music.

It doesn't seem natural to keep having to look to the centre of the dash to see the constant mpg it would be better on the odometer
