Default Smelly Plastic!

Have a 407 and notice a plastic smell when it is used on a hot day. I think it is interior plastic, not any thing hot on an engine. Any ideas?

I drove around with the remains of a melted plastic bag that apparantly was hooked on a bolt and wrapped around the exhaust pipe..

Awful burned plastic smell when the windows was rolled down and the car was not moving.. stuff was very hard to scrape off when and hardened!

Have a look under the car..?

Have changed the Cabin Filter, also checked the exhaust, can't see anything. Carpets seem to be dry. Anyone had any success with cleaning the interior plastics?

Can't say I have noticed any smell.... and I HATE the plasticizer smell. It could be something reacting with the plastic though, do you use dash cleaners etc?
