Do you have reverse lights all the time as im thinking its on the same circuit so could be the reverse switch beginning to fail.

On my SW I've been getting an intermittent message when putting car into reverse (about 80% of the time in the last week) an error message comes up on screen saying there is a fault with the parking assist but the sensors appear to be working fine? Any ideas what could cause the message?

On mine it's water getting into the wiring on the sensors as it's only faulty when raining or when we've had rain. When it's dry they work fine.

A spray of contact cleaner or the like and a coat of protection wax on wiring and sensor backs fixes it and keeps water out for a few months.

The error message kept coming up more and more regularly with the sensors now working but in the last day or so the sensors have stopped coming on at all, is there any common fault this could be? Or am I facing a trip to an auto electrician/ Peugeot to get them looked at?
