Default Radio sometimes comes on when starting, sometimes doesn't

Not a great problem, but...
Sometimes the radio will come on when the car is started, sometimes it won't; and I have to push the on/off button.
There does not seem to be any time frame involved.
Is it my Pug poltergeist?

Don't know when the battery was last changed (only had the car 3 months).
I have been impressed with the battery so far though.
Rear window heater on, heated seats on, A/C on, headlights and fog-lights on, and not the slightest dimming of headlights or problems with starting.

407's are generally good. They start every day then one day just a click.
Maybe try a BSI reset and see if that stops the CHRISTINE functions lol

drivers window down
engine off but keys still in ignition
open bonnet
leave alone for 3 mins, dont open doors etc
disconnect battery
leave 5 mins or so
connect battery
lean through open window and turn lights on
then open door, start car and check all functions

Did that to try and fix the rear window problem (which didn't ).
Still got the CHRISTINE function (love the description ).

Sussed now.
If I turn the ignition to the start position too quickly, the radio will not come on.
If I turn the ignition on without starting a wait a few seconds, the radio will come on, then will stay on after starting.
CHRISTINE indeed
