Default Problems with MDF

Hello people

So, my 407 have a problem with the MFD

I have change the display, and now is blinking, is in french and just show the hours and the date

as I have diagbox, i connected to know what was happening

did the general diagnosis and select telematics, and blocked the pps

restarted the pc and open the diagbox again, but now chose coding, on the main menu

inside i chose, download new software version, and ask me to put 4digits

were can i find this 4 digits?

hopping to get some luck

best regards
Pedro

The MFD probably just wants programming as it is in it's default state. i.e. French.

Simply program it to your preferred language then set everything else up. Usually programmed using the radio but if it's an aftermarket unit it should be possible to use the remote stalk.

What are you trying to download with Diagbox ??

If you are trying to program the MFD just go into the ecu for it and set the options then save to the ecu.

Lets see if i can understand

I connecte the cable
click on diagbox
select 407
confirm the VIN
Select Peugeot Planet 2000
chose the first option
Select Global test
Chose, Multi-fuction display (on this option, the pps stops responding)
