Cool Power steering

Is my power steering about to give up?
After starting and driving for about 10 sec the steering gets very heavy for a second then returns to normal, it has also happened randomly when driving or at a crucial time turning a corner... what's going on?

Did you check it has enough power steering fluid, and make sure you use Total Fulde DA, that would be the first step is there any error?

I had the same problem, filled it with steering fluid (2cm above the max) and the problem is gone. After filling run the engine with the cap open for about 10min. After that turn the sfeer to the outer left and right so the air comes out.

Good luck!
