Wink Peugeot 407 needs a few fixes

I have bought a second hand Peugeot 407, it has a few things I would like to fix including the backlight.

The onboard LCD is now not showing very well and sometimes the onboard computer [ECU] confuses me with misleading information. So far I have been prompted to change the tyres, and, the tyres have been confirmed as faulty by a petrol station probably looking to sell me new wheels.

I had also asked for a network of specialists to be certified, locally and I was thinking about infrastructural changes, which require more technical architectural planning and urban design.

I am not sure where to find a specialist who can help me re-program my car, perhaps I can write a web application that reads information from my car and then I can broadcast this to the www via an application.

I think I would like to adjust my engine so it consumes less g/km and then maybe I can have my COC updated, I have a 20 HDi engine, maybe I can down tune it, or adjust the technical parameters if I am allowed to do so.

You need to get your car diagnosed with Diagbox/PP2000. That will give you a good starting point for any repairs.

The LCD is a common issue. Mine's like that.. It fades out after anywhere from 5-20 minutes after starting the car. You can pick up a proper display on ebay for 40-60.
Might be worth your while to pickup the lexia3 cable/set on ebay too, instead of writing a program to do it. They also go for anywhere from 60 upwards and you get the software with it. I got one and I never looked back.
