Is it to make it start as i had this issue with a pluriel after converting the silly flappy paddle gearbox and i just rewired the starter trigger the engine ecu wont care if its manual or auto.

I tried to reprogram the BSI to make it think it was manual but it became impossible for various reasons

I converted my v6 espace to manual years ago and it was way simpler

After converting the gear box i lost almost the engine pawer because there is no communication between ecu and the automatic gearbox control
So i think that i have to treat with the automatic ecu
Pp2000 failed to change the gearbox type
But the engine is working
And i notice that the angle of the throttle cannot exceed 30% or 40%
Max speed 160 km/h
Acceleration is very slow

I dont think the comms between the engine and gearbox ecu really matter sounds like you may have another issue

I have done many auto to manual conversions over the years and even though the engine and gearbox ecu do talk to each other have never had a problem with power loss have you unplugged the auto ecu

Obd gives me fault code: u0103
Which means that no communication between ecu and the automatic gearbox control

Yes i had that too on a v6 laguna but it still revved properly and had the same engine as yours VVT type later v6 i just unplugged the gearbox ecu and rewired inhibitor to allow starter to work could not get the engine light off though peugeot and renaults systems are not that different.

Ok
But i think that the 3rd generation from the v6 engine is different.
Me ECU is busch ME 7.4.7
The 406 and laguna is ME 7.4.6 (2001,2004)
And these models simply u can reconfigure and change the gearbox type using pp2000 auto or manual
But in my case;
I have only one choice under gear box types (automatic am6)
!!!
Can u send me a photo of 407 coupe v6 3.0 petrol manual gear box?
Thank u

407 v6 is same as late model 406 and laguna v6 there are only 2 real versions the early one and the VVT type later one there is not a 3rd version.

I still say your issue is elsewhere as the gearbox and engine ecus only communicate to control torque limiting and gearchanges i see no reason why the auto ecu would inhibit the rev range of the engine

I doubt the software in the ecu was changed significantly.
