Default petrol V6 egr?

Hello all, and Merry Christmas!

Does anyone know if the V6 Petrol ( ES9A motor) has an EGR valve , and where is it?? and what does it look like??
I have all the classic symptoms of bad EGR that the members discuss in here, and it's worse on hot days..(It's summer in New Zealand)
but everyone seems to drive a diesel ! and all the threads are about diesels!....
I need to urgently fix this as a road-trip is planned, next week and of course my mechanic is closed...for a month.
Please help!
All the best
Martin

As far as I know, there is no EGR on 3.0 petrol. My 407 coupe doesn't even have a fuel filter (amazing right?)..

What symptoms are you having?

Default egr

You are right, no egr, I have since found out.
My symptoms were the car was almost undrivable on occasion, esp. hot days. Just no power until the revs got right up.

I ended up spraying the air temp sensor inside the airbox with MAF cleaner and Voila!
car now runs perfect.

BTW, I couldn't find any MAF either...
Next job is to fix leaking valve covers.. Not looking forward to that..
