Default pasenger seatairbag gone off

my passenger airbag has gone off took my car to get it reset as light is still on but been told I need a new box and its not an easy job does any one no what this is

hi can you fit one for me the air bag that went off was the seat one and if you can fit a new box would like to no when and how much please

You will likely need to get the seat airbag replaced. Probably cheaper to replace the whole seat with one from a breakers yard. Just need to check the wiring connectors match the one in your car.

Replecing the ecu should be a straightforward job but disconnect the battery first to prevent any accidental firing of other airbags. A Haynes manual would likely be a good source of info on how to get to the ECU.

thanks for that will look in breakers yard and see on web site to find out how to remove box. god nothing is easy
