Default Mystery switch

Hi guys
I just found a switch on the roof of the drivers side glove box. Does anyone know what it is for?

There's nothing obvious on the servicebox plans - but there is a small round knob of sorts shown which is just a stop bumper... Although this is based on MY chassis number which is a 407SW 2.0 HDi 136

Nothing showed up for me either. It is a switch with 1-0 on it. It sits on the roof of the box. Nothing seems to happen when I flick it

Did you buy the car from new? If not it could be something like the previous owner has added some lights or something and when he took them out, didn't bother to remove the switch.

If it looks anything like this....

Thats a pretty common type of switch to be included in the led and neon kits...

you have an accessory you didnt know about
my dad bought a car a few ears ago that had a 'hidden' switch that immobilized the car, my mam caught the switch one day and it took 4 days before we got the car started
Third time likes this.
