Default My car has been stood 8 weeks

My car has been stood 8 weeks with the battery disconnected , after connecting the battery and waiting a few minutes before I open the door is there anything else you would do ?
I wondered wether I should crank the engine 1 st to pump the oil round before I start it .

When i went on an extended holiday in 2009 i left my 1.6 407 saloon for roughly the same amount of time at manchester airport.

I started it up first time.... it then spluttered & felt like it was firing on only 2 cylinders then died.
Second time round i gave it alittle blip of revs & all was well

Probably safer to reconnect properly - Google BSI RESET.

The car should be able to handle 8 weeks without battery disconnect though.
