Default MFD / Radio problem

Hi,
My 407 Saloon was off the road for a few months. I have had the battery replaced and the car serviced, but now the MFD and radio will not turn on right away.

I have to drive for at least 45 minutes to and hour before it kicks in.
Is it and energy saving thing, economy mode maybe.
Really want this fixed bup dont want to pay a fortune.

Any help would be appreciated.

Same thing here. The big MFD of the RT3 kicks in after driving for 30 mins. The radio keeps restarting every minute although it works fine, only the display is dark. After it lights up it works fine til next morning - no problems, nothing. Thr FO cable seems fine. I think it needs to warm up and then works normally. A dry/cold soldering joint is my guess. I'll disassemble everything tomorrow and look for an obvious reason.

Problem solved. It was the damn Parrot adapter that came with my Dension Gateway 300 digital changer. After i removed it the display lit up immediately. So butchered the adapter and hard wired the changer to the existing installaton - no black screen now. (The FO cable ca be checked with a pocket laser pointer or even looking at the display end - it lights up in red. )
