Default lack of power

hi new to the forum can some one help me my prob is that if i sit with my foot on the accelerator up to 3000 rpm and hald at that it will go down to 1000 rpm and then back up its like itis not getting fual or misfireing my car is 407 20hdi

In the 2.0HDI I would find it very hard to need to take the revs to 3,000 anytime - I never take mine above 2,500 and definitely don't sit at those revs.

Have you done all the normal checks, i.e. air and fuel filters?

yes check them ok if i held it at 2000rpm it gos up and down if your driving a long it will judder power there power not

Mine used to hesitate/hold back a little.... my got better by cleaning/replacing the EGR valve and having the ECU software updated. Have you had any cleaning or work done to the EGR valve?

Could be anything. Get a diagnostic check done.
