Do they take anything off or unplug anything when they do the taxi test?

Maybes a wire has come loose and is earthing on the car?

Its going in monday and my mech said its a bumper off job. Will it be likely to be a fan switch or the whole fan that needs replacing?

Get him to run power to the fans to check and as said above take temp sensor out first , car will think its not working and should trigger fans , i have wiring diagram somewhere if i can hunt it up , if not pm Risky1 for wiring diagram .

ps if you`re there when job is getting done take pic`s for "How Too" guide.
