Question Glove box compartment frame removal

Hi,

I'm working on the heater flap repair problem and I am trying to reach the flaps from the passenger side. I've managed to get the glove box out and I have also unscrewed the bottom motor. Lucky me - that's the motor/flap where the problem seems to be!

The question is:

Is there a way to get the glove box FRAME off? The frame is in the way and it would be so much easier to do the fix if there wasn't anything in the way. The parts that are on the way are highlighted by numbers 1, 2 and 3. I managed to unscrew 2 x 13 mm screws that are highlighted with number 4 but it didn't do much. It seems like the frame is still quite firmly in place. And yes, I also unscrewed the airbag from the metallic air tube but still no success.

I guess I have to manage with the frame on place if there is no an easy way to do the removal of the frame.
