Default fuel consumption not normal after timing belt change

Hi there. can someone please help me on the following?
2 days ago I replaced my timing parts( belt - idler - tensioner).
After this my 407 2.0 hdi has been consuming a bit more fuel than before. I did run diagnostics and nothing popped up to indicate that the timing is out. what could cause this?

My money would be on the timing being slightly out. The hall effect camshaft sensor is a coarse device only there to tell the ecu the firing order of the injectors, would not trigger a fault if slightly out of place.
