Default front brake noise

Hi all
it seems my front pads might be wearing out slight grinding noise when brakes applied, I have an 07 plate 407sw diesel anyone can tell me which is the correct model to click on websites as there seems to be many variants

full engine details and last 8 of vin would be very helpful

if brakes are grinding then chances are you will need new discs too

could also be a stone between pad and disc

Assuming your 07 sw is a 2.0 Hdi and the same as my 06 sw have a look here

thanks again, checked the pads and there ok, also the discs were done not too long ago so you could be right with the stone, just back from cornwall so might of picked up a stone down there
