Default Front ash tray removal

Does anyone know how to remove the front ash tray & cigarette socket? Looked on service box but doesn't show any detail. Would like to remove to check bulb etc for lighter.

You have to remove the radio and heater control unit first

Pull out ashtray, there are two tabs located about 20mm in from each side press these down and slide ashtray out in a kind of press down and pull out motion. No need to dismantle anything else as I've just done it this weekend to fit extra cigarette lighter for iPhone charging.

Gaz

I can't figure out where these tabs are - just tried taking it out now with no success. Its part no.1 here that I want to remove - the whole piece.
