Default Engine diagnostics warning light

Hi all

Have a 2005 407 2.2L petrol sedan
Car taken to Peug dealer two months ago with this problem
they checked it out found the fault $1049 later new coil and plugs
today the same problem happen picture of an engine on the instrument panel display, manual states its a Enine Diagnostics warning light and car strugged to make it home. also while driving it home more display lights "ESP" manual states Mulfunction warning sign and after that "PRND" displayed, manual states automatic gearbox fault warning light.
"bloody hell"
{on the day car was stuck it traffic for 2 hour stop and start no problems with car , then parked the car for two hours then all this}

Would like some feed back before i take the car back to the Dealer

PRND is a gearbox problem is it auto box?

Get a diagostic check done.
Auto box ecu is relying on wheel speed, thats why its fault light is flashing.

have been told its injector 4 playing up.

Is it a good idea to ugrade the software on the 407 or best to leave it alone on a 2005 model 2.2L Petrol. can the computer handle the lastest upgrades.
