Drivers window partially open
As a result of an alternator problem the battery on my 407 coupe was not charging and became totally flat, the car only restarting with the help of a jump start.
The battery was disconnected, recharged and reconnected and the car will now start. The alternator/charging problem is being dealt with but while reconnecting the battery the drivers window partially opened (two inches or so) and now will not operate at all. The passengers window operates normally.
I understand this may have something to do with BSi and resetting of systems. How can I get the window working?

Try a BSI reset, look here and follow the instructions:
