Default dpf removed, mpg gone down. how come?

just had my dpf removed and remapped (407 1.6 hdti) and my mpg seems to have dropped by about 6-7mpg.

was getting around 65-69 mpg at 60 mph, now getting late 50's.

engine drives fine since having it done, just i was expecting to gain a couple of mpg's

any thoughts.
cheers
Richard.

Mine went down a bit too, but I was being more 'enthusiastic' with my driving with the extra ooomph....

To get an accurate measurement you will need to compare full tank mileage, or use an app for fuel costs/miles etc ( Fuel Log for example )

Thanks for reply.
I'm talking about instantaneous mpg at 60mph with cruise control on.

Cheers
Richard
