Default courtesy lights staying on

Hi, when i unlock the car the courtesy lights come, problem is that stay on once I've started the car and don't turn off. I can press and hold buttons, door open or closed but they stay on. Sometimes they turn off after 10mins, other times they just stay on. Once key removed from ignition they sometimes remain on, in which case i have to keep opening and closing doors and locking unlocking until they go out. Driving me nuts. If there's no easy fix can i just remove the bulbs or will this cause other problems?

Have you had the battery off recently?

I did a BIS reset to see if that would resolve it, but no luck.

This mau not help, on the 807 there is a rocker switch behind the front courtesy light, if this isn't in the middle position then you get a similar fault to yours, could be worth checking the handbook as well.
