Default BMW Service: Think itís expensive? It is.

BMW Service: Think it’s expensive? Think again.

If they're charging £179 for an oil change and filter than I can start to see why their customers drive to angrily.

That ad posing as a thread seems to have gone now.

Here's a screenshot, just to prove I'm not mad.

It says it's a sponsored post so may well have been approved BUT why in the 407 & not in the BMW forum ??

It was a strange place to put it.

I have no problem with ads on the site, but I think that disguising an ad as genuine content is a step too far -- especially when the value in the site is freely contributed content.

Plus I'm narked for having being conned into clicking on an ad

Friend got his Mercedes serviced the other day and also needed 4 new tyres - to the tune of £2100 for the lot

OUCH !

What sort of Merc? An AMG V12? I just looked at the price of tyres for a Merc C220 and they were cheaper than for my 407!

So, for the service did they air-freight it to Germany and return it with a boot full of Jagermeister?
