Default Blower fan not working in cold/damp

I have a problem with the heater blower fan on my 407... if the weather is cold and damp it refuses to blow. Warm the engine up for half an hour and it'll work fine.

I am currently thinking along the lines of a relay that is sticking, does anyone know where the blower fan relay is located on the 407 SW? or any other possible ideas on what could cause this?

Many thanks

A.

How good is your battery/alternator and how quick does the car warm up, the blower will only operate when BSI sees rise in battery voltage (some where around 13V if i remember correctly) and a slight rise in coolant temps from engine running.

My fan sounds ok but only blows a little air, no matter what setting or adjustments. Any ideas how to get more air??
