Default Pls help

2008 407 sw 167k

Hello. I got the car 2 weeks ago i drove it from London to my house around 120 miles. So it was running.
I just change the seals from my injectors and change the fuel filter, cleaned the dpf. I have a problem because my lines to the fuel filter are the same no color coded or diferente sizes., but i guess i got it right.
Now my problem is i tried to prime it. and crank it ..no start. after several times prime crank it it started for a fes seconds, but quit. Some black smoke came from the area of the turbo with the dpf. I checked if there was deisel getting to the injectors and there is.

Now i hardly have pressure on the tit, doesnt start. I have a quarter tank and the car is on a slope, could it be a reason for lack of pressure on the primer tit?
I didnt touch on any for the plugs, insjectors are on the same position.

I used pp2000 and there are no codes??!!

What can i do? Please help

If the priming bulb isn't getting hard you have an air leak.

Are the fuel pipes connected the right way round on the filter, not swapped by mistake?

Now thats a good question....i will be honest to you. I DONT KNOW because mine have no color coded or diferente sizes.....how can i be sure...

I've found that on the 1.6 and 2.2 the priming bulb don't go hard like it did on the 1.9XUD. However, to start with it may feel 'squelchy'.

Well i tried for 15 min to use the manual pump and nothing. i guess the fuel retracted to the fuel tank. So what i did was.
I used a 12v pump and on the left of the engine there are to lines green and white white is the one that brings fuel from the tankso i used the pump there until i had it on the tube, then i used on the line that goes to the filter. then i used the on the green line so it brought the fuel from the filter through the manual pump and the high pressure pump.
I crank if twice and it started. if i was going to use the manual pump i would be still there.

Now something that confuses me. there is a pump in the fuel tank...why do we need to prime it????? then we have the high pressure pump that also sucks fuel...I know if you fill the filter when you change it nothing like this will happen but......

If there's a priming bulb fitted you don't have a fuel pump in the tank.
The high pressure pump on the engine just sucks it up. (after you've primed it with the bulb of course).
If you look at the assembly on the top of the tank (under the rear seat) all you will see is the fuel level sender connections.
There will be no pump.
