Default 5 Seater SW -> 7 Seater HOOWWW?

As I'm sure you understood by the fairly straightforward title, I would like to install 2 extra seats in the car, I've done plenty of fiddling around using the Haynes manual but it sadly does not have a tutorial on how to add 2 seats, is this even possible if the car came with 5?

BONUS odd question, under the right hand side of the rear passenger bench (EU model) I have this circular rubber lid (fitted loosely) when removed it reveals some thin rubber piping on top of a black tank(?), is this the fuel pump or does it have anything to do with the webasto auxiliary heater?(also what the heck is the mechanism that makes that thing work? To me it's like it runs on magic unicorn dust) I'm just curious since I never ended up needing to fiddle with that.

307 SW can be made a 7 seater not sure if the 407 can though

Cap is covering the fuel pick up

Webasto does run on magic

It needs to see low temps to come on it is controlled by the engine ECU

Well that's one mistery sorted out! The 407 definitely has a 7 Seater variant, I found plenty on mobile.de, it's also slightly larger than the 307 so why not? Webasto is such a strange thing indeed, it is a blessing when car-camping, with the rear seats folded down u can fit a 200x160cm (or 140?) air mattress there and I, 192cm tall fit super comfortably.

Yep, you guys are right, just double checked, I was so sure of it I never bothered to actually look and I was also surprised no one asked this before. Well, at least now I know what the funny rubber lid covers. have a good one.

407 is actually smaller hight in boot than 307 due to the design of the roof and slope of tailgate so not enough space.

I recon they should have made a 7 seat version made the car longer and designed it to be 7 seater from the start
