Default 407 SW 2.0 petrol, 4 indicators flashing

Hello,

When opening the car, the 4 indicators start blinken for 1 minute instead of the usual 5 seconds.

How can this "feature" be disabled ?

The Peugeot garage tells me there is something wrong in the onboard computer, but they see no use in replacing it only for this issue.

It's a 407 SW 2.0 petrol, 116.000 km, built in 2005.

Hope somebody can help me with this issue ?

Jonathan.

Try the standard BSi Reset procedure before you start exploring and racking up costs on un-necessary parts. May just solve your problem and its free.

I've found the reset procedure on the internet, will try it as soon as it stops raining.

But how can I tell if the reset procedure actually succeeded ?

Isn't this what happens when you press the lock button when searching for the car in a large car park,is the car thinking its already locked when its not ?
