Default 407 Heater Matrix only one pipe heating.

Hi. I just fixed the flap on my 2004 1.6hdi peugeot 407 and I can see all the way down as far as the heater matrix.
My problem is that the heater matrix is not getting hot. Only one of the pipes feeding it is getting to engine temperature. The other pipe is just luke warm.
Does the 407 have a control valve on the flow to the heater.
Thanks

No valve its either an airlock in the matrix or the matrix is blocked

For anyone else with this problem. My heater matrix was blocked solid. There was no heat in the car and only one of the pipes at the firewall was getting hot (right hand pipe.) Flushing with a hose in the opposite direction to the normal flow worked i.e. I connected a garden hose to the pipe on the left as you look at the fire wall and it cleared the blockage eventually. Keep in mind that the heater matrix won't take much pressure so keep it below 10psi. When clear you can blow easily through the heater pipes. Cheers
