Default 407 heater issue

hi

I have a problem, on the way home tonight my feet were nearly frozen off couldnt get the drivers side to heat. The passanger side wast cold but wasnt blowing hot either. The last 2 morings the car was difficult to start had to pump the acc. pedal dont know if this has any baring?

Please does anyone have any ideas, car is not worth a 2000 bill

Hi Melissa,

Heater faults are typical for the 407 and more often than not relate to the heater flaps having snapped. Suggest you have a good read of this link.

If the car is difficult to start this could well be a seperate problem.

Have you got any fault codes/ error messages you've seen flash up on the dash? You can buy a fault code reader
online online
that will help you diagnose the problems on your car.

Pumping the throttle won't help, afaik they're fly by wire. Could be glow worms or like mine has had, crap starter itis.
The blower flap issue is a complete pig.
