Default 407 HDI 2.0 oil

any ideas what oil I should use as with all the different specs grades out there I am a bit lost in it all. In my book it says synthetic oil 5W40 or Total quartz 9000 5W40 quartz diesel 7000 10W40 or quartz future 9000 5W30? googled them and still stuck I was gonna go for none of these and buy Nissan oil fully synthetic 5W30 DPF as it sounds right and its only 20 on ebay thanks all please dont say buy mobil or something expensive about 25 is my budget thanks

If 25 is your budget then you've got the wrong car.

Skimp and you'll end up with massive repair bills.

the book says total 9000 24 on ebay but not sure still

Never skimp on oil. If you were injured in an accident and needed a blood transfusion, would you accept any old red liquid as a substitute?

There's definitely a correlation between poor servicing and reliability issues on modern cars.

This is the one you should use I believe, 5w30 low ash.
ECCQINEO5 - Quartz Ineo 5w30 Fully Synthetic Engine Oil 5 Litres

Comes in at 32 + shipping.

Here it was even cheaper, and fre P&P within UK it seem.
26.4, almost at budget

Total Quartz Ineo ECS 5W30 Engine Oil TOT-151261 - 5 Litre | eBay
