Default 407 alert log abs, esp

After I changed orginal licence plate lights with LED lughts, there is alert log abs and esp faulty. Is there way to fix this? (when I reinstalled orginal lights its all fine) led lights from e bay: http://m.ebay.com/itm/272191498468

changing back to the original lights you answered your own question, obviously the new led lights are causing your ecu to throw up the faults you mentioned. i see the new lights are from china send them back if you can and get your money back. a lot of cheap parts from ebay arent worth the money as they can cause more problems pay a little more for a better quality part you wont regret it.

You need to look for LED lights that are suitable for canbus systems.

Never had a 407 so don't know if they have bulb warnings but if it has I would guess that the ecu monitors the current draw to see if a bulb has failed. If the LED lamps aren't canbus safe they could be causing corruption to the canbus data resulting in weird faults to show as you have noticed - after all, what does number plate lights have to do with the ABS / ESP ?
