Default 20" wheels on coupé

Is it possible to run the 407 coupé on 20 inch wheels?
Has anyone done this?

TIA

I'm trying to visualise if the car would look abnormally raised because of the larger wheels? May require lowering of the suspension?
And if it's lowered, would the electronic suspension need to be recalibrated?

Hit a pot-hole with those low profile tyres and you'll know about it!

Yep, there's a set of original 19' 407 coupe wheels which are super rare on ebay.... one has a massive crack which was welded, just shows that 18" are the optimum size between looks / performance / comfort.

Back on normal rims, I hit a kerb at 90 degrees, straight on at 30mph. Rim was absolutely fine, I did need a new tyre though!

I've seen that set... No matter how rare, I'm not keen on buying crack-repaired wheels.

(Not for that price, anyway )
Agree about 18" being optimum.

Just wondered if anyone actually has tried out 20s on their coupé.

I'd ask the dealership for advice but they're not very good with even basic queries.

Theres a guy over on the FB page with 3 or 4 of these and his "spare" he's talking of stripping out into a track car, and putting big wheels on. He already has 19's on his road cars so he must have some knowledge of 20" or even bigger

What's the offset like on it? Are the wheels further in the wheel well or do they stick out a bit more than stock?

they sit further out than the cosmos but not really much different, the fronts are sat about right imo, and the rears could do with maybe a 10mm spacer to put them exactly in the right place, i wont be adding spacers tho as i dont like them, heres a couple of pics to give an idea. I can take more if you want these are just what i have on pc
