Default Window motor.

Hi

My 406 drivers window is stuck up. and wont move, all the other windows are fine. Im assuming from all the posts I have read, that the motor is the issue.

Now, all of my doors have electric windows, will the rear drivers door be the same as the front? can I

A) Swap the doors/cards over
B) Take the mech from rear and stick in front. (Not worried about rear not working)

Cheers

Stu

Are they the rubber contact type buttons ? I had an issue and cleaned the circuit board with some IPA (Isa Propyl Alcahol) and then blew it out with compressed air switch cleaner following a tip from the forum

The switch is a common weak spot on the 406, I've replaced mine with good and tested 2nd hand ones, but there are numerous fixes available with pictures on tinternet to sort out the connection....
