Angry Multiple Clutch Failure.

My Peugeot 406 1.9d 1997 needed new clutch in Oct 2012 all was fine until late Jan 2013 when the bearing departed company from the cover assembly. The clutch assembly was a Quinton Hazell unit, this was duly exchanged for a alternative unit under warranty. The problem one year on is the same thing has happened again. Has anyone had any similar problems?

I'm afraid you've answered the question by identifying the brand of clutch. Buy a Valeo one andit should last. I'm not a fan of QH cutches personally.

I agree the pull type clutches are prone to this problem but pattern ones are far more likely to fail we always use valeo in our taxis.
