Default Low Brake Fluid Warning

When turning on the ignition sometimes the low Brake fluid warning will appear (on the info panel above radio).
So I have checked the fluid level and it is ok. I was wondering if it is a float that detects the level or is it a pressure switch.

It has not had the brakes bled as far as I know since it was brought a few years ago but it has had the pads changed so maybe air got in then.

I had this a couple of times in my 406. I had a quick google and one or two suggested handbrake switch. So I lathered it in contact cleaner.
Problem solved

yep it will be the handbrake switch, give your handbrake lever a workout, up & down a few times or give it a squirt with something to lube it up
